Award of Distinction: a Recognition Given to a Few Clubs Among 200 Private Clubs in Florida

They are one of the four clubs in Florida to receive the prestigious award of distinction for their wine program, given through the CMAA’s (Club Managers Association of America) International Wine Society. Based on the 100-point scale, the “Award of Merit” is given to clubs with a score between 80 to 89, and the “Award of Distinction” for scores 90 and above.
For the past five years, Sailfish Point received the “Award of Merit.” This year, we received the “Award of Distinction” because we scored 92.

The Ocean room recital is where diners get to enjoy the music, foods, and wines. Now, they offer five large dinners for sixty people. A member can get 1 to 1000 bottles. To provide diners convenience in storing their wines, Sailfish Point decided to add a custom wine room. They wanted to work with a professional and experienced contractor to ensure that everything is at the right place.
They hired Wine Cellar International, a trusted builder in Palm Beach, Florida, to design a custom wine cellar in their dining room. Our team understands that each project has unique requirements. We always make sure that the components are installed correctly and made of high-grade materials. In this particular project, we had to meet the standards of Sailfish Point’s wine and dining services.
Most wine rooms have lockers for the members to hold their wines. The wine room is more of a showpiece of Sailfish wines. They also do winemaker’s table, a good way to store the member’s wine collection.

When designing wine racks, we at Wine Cellar International, always make a careful assessment of our client’s aesthetic and functional requirements. This process helps us maximize storage capacity, choose the bottle configurations that can be combined with, and determine the most suitable racking material.
In this particular custom wine cellar project, we incorporated individual storage, X bins, diamond bins, and tabletops. Bin wine racks are recommended for businesses that buy wines in bulk. This racking style offers a better way to organize wines offered by Sailfish Point to diners.
We also added an archway illuminated with recessed lighting to highlight a few bottles of wines. Around the archway are wine rack openings intended for storing bottles individually.
The middle section consists of a display row where bottles are pitched at an angle. This keeps the cork in contact with the wine, preventing the cork to become brittle and loose its elasticity.
